Trending: Ranbir Kapoor Claims He Was 'Forced' To Go On Karan Johar's Show

Is this an early indication of a possible Bollywood rebellion against Koffee With Karan? You might have missed it in all the other headline-worthy quotes Ranbir Kapoor delivered in his podcast with comedy collective AIB but the 32-year-old actor claimed, without his characteristic diplomacy, that he really didn't want to be on the recent season of filmmaker Karan Johar's celebrity chat show. Ranbir also claimed that he and actress Anushka Sharma, his co-star from Karan Johar's film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, had planned to get the rest of Bollywood to band together against Koffee With Karan.

"You know Karan so well and he makes you so comfortable and you are chatting with him and you don't realise there are a billion people taking every word of yours seriously," Ranbir said while being interviewed by AIB. "I was forced this season. I told Karan I don't want to come in. Anushka and I were actually going to protest and get the film industry together to stop this because it's not fair because he's making money out of us. We come and we get scr****d through the year. It's not right," the actor added.
